We are also recruiting for paid studies that have specific requirements, including ensuring MRI eligibility and safety, and being able to travel to our lab at Dell Medical School (near the main UT campus). See below for specific enrollment instructions for each study.
📰 Brain Activity & Emotions in Relation to Stress & Trauma
Requirements:
Age 18-50
Safe in MRI environment
Have experienced a stressful or traumatic event involving threat or harm to yourself or someone close to you OR have been diagnosed with PTSD by a licensed healthcare provider.
Have not been diagnosed with a neurocognitive disorder or psychosis.

All potential participants complete, at minimum, a questionnaire and phone screen.
📰 Learning & Emotions in Relation to Obsessions & Intrusive Thoughts
Requirements:
Age 18-50
Experience strong or persistent obesssions or instrusive thoughts OR have been diagnosed with OCD by a licensed healthcare provider.
Have not been diagnosed with a neurocognitive disorder.
Does not require MRI (optional part of study)
